Terms & conditions

These terms set out the basis on which we provide our services. By booking work with us you agree to them. Last updated June 2026.

1. About us

We are a local trades business registered in England & Wales. You can reach us at [your email] or by phone.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Our quotes are based on the information available at the time. If, once work begins, we discover additional work is required — for example pre-existing faults hidden behind walls — we will always discuss this with you and agree any extra cost before proceeding. You will never be charged for additional work without your prior approval.

3. Bookings and cancellations

When you accept a quote we will agree a date for the work. If you need to rearrange or cancel, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the slot to another customer. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed appointments, may incur a reasonable charge to cover our costs.

4. Carrying out the work

All work is carried out by qualified tradespeople to the relevant current standards and regulations. We will take reasonable care in your property and clean up after ourselves. To allow us to work safely and efficiently, we ask that you provide clear access to the relevant areas and let us know of anything we should be aware of in advance.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed a staged payment schedule for larger projects in advance. We accept bank transfer, debit and credit cards, and cash. Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Guarantee and certification

All workmanship is guaranteed for the period stated on your paperwork from the date of completion. Where applicable, you will receive the relevant certificate for your records. The guarantee covers our workmanship and does not cover faults arising from misuse, third-party interference, or pre-existing installations outside the scope of the work we carried out.

7. Liability

We carry appropriate insurance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for any loss arising from our work is limited to the value of the work carried out, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Complaints

We take pride in our work, but if something isn't right we want to know. Please contact us at [your email] and we will respond promptly and do everything reasonable to put things right.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
